Before we get started with the instructions, allow us to thank you for joining the Let’s Record initiative! As you already know, Let’s Record is an open-for-all volunteering platform, where anyone can record novels and/or academic notes for Visually Impaired (VI) students. You can visit Let’s Record page to know more about what we’ve done and what we plan to do. You can also listen to this page by clicking on the link. (Link to listen to the same draft in audio/video format)
We have completed recording hundreds of books and notes. In the beginning, when we had first started the initiative, we were not sure what kind of response Let’s Record will get but today, we have volunteers from remote areas journeying with us. To assist such volunteers, we’ve created this guidebook where you can comprehend how we record, what apps do our volunteers use, how to name the files, and other similar questions related to recording for Let’s Record.
This was the end of instructions from our end. If you still have any doubts or are confused about any of the steps we mentioned above, don’t hesitate to reach out to us and we’ll help you out.
These instructions can be useful for any audio libraries or NGOs. Anyone can use these instructions and guidelines to improve their mechanism of audio recording! We haven’t made these only for Vargshikshak or Let’s Record. If you find them useful, you can send the webpage link to anyone who needs it.
You will get happiness through many things but the inner satisfaction always comes when you make people happy by boosting them through your little work! Thank you for reading this! We appreciate your time and enthusiasm to do something for society 🇮🇳
